Buying model capacity does not mean every member needs a provider API key. Connections, usage permissions and collaboration context are separate concerns. The team edition keeps resource configuration with administrators while members focus on their tasks.

Start in the console

Register in the console and configure your team. Choose an available plan for your team size and collaboration needs, then set member access and quotas.

We recommend preparing an appropriate Business / Team plan and checking the official account entitlements each member needs. Confirm third-party API resources separately from official account permissions.

Configure providers centrally

Administrators connect purchased model services or AI gateways in the console. Members use a connection code to access configured models, without receiving provider API keys.

Resource management stays with administrators. When a provider or model changes, confirm its configuration and intended access before assigning it to members.

Assign models and quotas per member

Different jobs need different models. Administrators assign model access and usage quotas to match members’ responsibilities.

Before allocating resources, establish which tasks need which models and who reviews usage. Logs and cost records provide evidence for subsequent adjustments.

Keep context with the work

Team memory preserves project conventions and lessons for colleagues’ Codex. Project handoffs bring project knowledge and ongoing work to the next person.

Invited colleagues can continue shared conversations with their existing context. Remote collaboration lets members access the original device to inspect and continue tasks away from the desk.

Begin with one real project

Choose a project with a clear owner and a genuine handoff need. Establish model access, member permissions and quotas, then assess whether team memory and handoffs help the work.

Look for less repeated setup, clearer resource boundaries and a better understanding of context when taking over a task. These practical observations are valuable beta feedback.
